Skinning has always been used to finish the blade. Not only does it smooth the facet at the blade but it also polishes it and the razor blade lasts much longer. Fine calfskin is used to make this product. The product is supplied without paste, the user can choose the type and coarseness himself.

Excellent product for the final dressing of both pocket and kitchen knife blades, after sharpening then by appropriate ''dressing'' you get a real razor blade.
